About
Set Perception is founded and led by Andrei Nastase. Art college and art university, a marketing degree, and five years of designing and building websites. Every project is led directly, from research to launch.
Background
Years inside the art world taught me how visual judgment actually works, and how often “taste” is just preference spoken with confidence.
Marketing added the commercial layer: positioning, buyers, and what it costs a business when people misunderstand what it does.
Five years of designing and building websites showed me where projects actually succeed or stall: decisions, not decoration.
Position
I've spent my whole life around visual work. The failure I kept seeing was not a lack of talent. It was capable businesses being judged through aesthetics that had nothing to do with what their buyers needed to understand.
Research and positioning come first here not because design doesn't matter, but because design only works when it knows what it's for. Someone who couldn't draw would tell you design is expendable. I'm telling you the opposite: it's too valuable to spend on guesswork.
Standards
Every decision needs a reason that can be explained to someone who wasn't in the room.
When research contradicts a personal preference, mine or yours, the research wins.
Design influences how you're understood and trusted. It doesn't guarantee revenue, and I won't claim it does.
What's included is written down. What isn't is said before you sign, not after.
